Story

Olives restaurant underwent a six-week renovation, transforming both floors. The update included refreshed dining areas and restrooms, with the first floor also receiving a revamped bar area. Pioneer Millwork provided expert millwork and finishes, while Jean Stoffer of “The Established Home” on the Magnolia Network led the sophisticated design.

Story

This project was a 211,000 SF cooler facility, that was protected with six wet systems with an ESFR storage design, with over four and a half miles of pipe installed and almost 2,500 sprinklers. This also had a 1,500 GPM diesel vertical turbine fire pump that draws from an underground tank. Some unique challenges on this project were coordinating over 180 beam penetrations with the steel crew and setting the concrete tank and sump for the fire pump to draw from.

Kalamazoo County’s new Downtown Justice Facility is a high tech, small blueprint building in the heart of Kalamazoo. The multiply room layouts and congested mechanical systems above the ceilings were challenges we overcame when designing and installing the fire protection, consisting of multiple systems, roof hydrants, a fire pump, and 20,000 FT of pipe.
