The YMCA and Caledonia Community Schools teamed up to create a unique athletic complex featuring pools, a gym, fitness spaces, childcare, and community rooms. With everything from a splash pad to a chapel and indoor track, it is a true hub for wellness, recreation, and connection in the community.

Dubbed the “Next Center,” it houses a business incubator, community education space, and the organization’s new headquarters.

Southridge Behavioral Hospital will accommodate up to 96 beds, serving adult and geriatric patients. It will employ approximately 170 full-time and part-time staff. Programming will be tailored to individual patient needs, with core psychiatric services and counseling, supplemented with art therapy, music therapy, and outdoor activities.

Story

After 90 years of operation in the same building, the Ottawa Beach General Store was ready for a new beginning. First Companies was asked to construct a new building, recreating the nostalgia and historical features of the original iconic structure.
